If you told us a year ago that we would be launching a website in the middle of a global pandemic, we would not have believed you. Yet, here we are. To say that Covid-19 has created challenges to daily life would be a massive understatement; nearly every aspect of life and business has been affected by the rapidly expanding pandemic and we have all been forced to make some large, often uncomfortable changes in response. While the virus has disrupted daily life for most of the world, it has also created some unique challenges for the Wundercarparts team and we have adapted wherever necessary to keep orders flowing and push development forward. As such, we are very happy to say that the Wundercarparts store is officially open for business and we do not plan on closing any time soon.
How we have adapted to work in a Covid-19 world-
The Wundercarparts business model is built on an extensive network of warehouses and fulfillment facilities throughout the U.S. Much like those other big ecommerce guys, this network allows us to get parts to you as fast as possible while also offering free shipping within the continental U.S. That extended network also means that we have faced unique challenges as different states adopt social distancing, shelter-in-place, and stay at home orders to help slow the spread of Coronavirus. We whole-heartedly support any and all efforts to slow the spread of the pandemic and bring this difficult situation to an end. However, we are also dedicated to remaining open for business to help keep our customers' vehicles running, fleets on the road, and home projects humming along. Here is how we are dealing with this situation safely and efficiently:
-Our webstore is up and open for business. We currently offer 75 brands worth of leading automotive parts and accessories, with an even more extensive catalog available for phone orders and on our eBay and Amazon stores.
-We have instructed all non-essential employees and personnel to work from home and practice proper social distancing in accordance with all local and state guidelines.
-We continue to update our inventory and pricing multiple times throughout the day to ensure our customers receive the most up-to-date pricing and stock numbers. We hate it when the part we've ordered is out of stock, and we are sure you do too.
-At this time, all warehouse and fulfillment centers are open and operating at their full capacity to process, pack, and ship orders as fast and safely as possible.
-Warehouses and fulfillment centers are utilizing and adhering to all applicable screening, cleaning, notification and disinfecting guidelines as outlined by state and federal authorities. Adherence to these guidelines maximizes worker safety and smooth continued operation.
-As automotive parts supply is considered essential to keeping the U.S. moving and keeping fleets on the road, we do not expect any closures to our fulfillment facilities in the near future. Should a closure or disruption in service occur due to state or local mandate, we will immediately update our inventory and sourcing methods accordingly.
-Our Customer Service team is currently working from home in an effort to flatten the curve and stem the spread of Covid-19 in their local communities. However, our phone lines are still available during normal business hours for any questions you may have or orders you wish to place.
-Additionally, if you are worried about spreading germs through the phone lines, our customer service team is available during business hours via email at email@example.com, or via live chat on the site.
Within a span of months, Covid-19 has changed the landscape of daily life for America and the rest of the world. While we don't know when life will get back to normal, we are committed to keeping the wheels turning and keeping the enthusiast spirit alive.
Wishing you good health and good spirits in the weeks ahead,
-The Wundercarparts Team.
